Frequently Asked Questions

Every question we get about window cleaning in Bend, in one place: scheduling, pricing, hard water, weather, and service area.

Scheduling & Booking

How often should I get my windows cleaned in Bend?

Most Bend homes do well with two cleanings a year: late spring, after juniper pollen settles, and early fall, after wildfire smoke and dust season winds down. Homes near sprinklers, on exposed ridge-top lots, or with heavy tree cover may benefit from quarterly service.

Do you offer recurring or seasonal scheduling?

Yes. Many Bend homeowners and businesses set up a recurring schedule, spring and fall for homes, weekly to seasonal for commercial properties, so no one has to remember to call.

How far in advance should I book?

It depends on the season. Spring and early fall tend to book up faster since that’s when most Bend homes schedule their cleaning. Calling a week or two ahead is usually plenty, but we’ll always tell you honestly if we’re further out than that.

Do I need to be home for my appointment?

No, many customers aren’t home during service, especially for exterior-only cleanings. Just make sure we have access to the areas being cleaned and that pets are secured.

What if I need to reschedule?

Call us as soon as you know and we’ll find a new time. Bend weather changes fast, so we build some flexibility into our schedule already.

Pricing

How much does window cleaning cost in Bend?

Pricing depends on the number of windows, accessibility, and whether hard water or restoration work is needed, since every Bend property is a little different. We provide an exact quote before any work begins. Call us with a few details about your windows for a fast estimate. Our window cleaning cost guide shows typical local price ranges.

Is hard water removal included in your standard window cleaning price?

No, and we want to be upfront about that. Standard cleaning removes dust, pollen, cobwebs, and everyday grime. Hard water and mineral buildup require a different process and are quoted as a separate line item, because severity varies enormously from window to window.

Do you offer free quotes?

Yes. Call us with your address and a few details, or send photos, and we’ll get you an estimate, usually the same day.

Service Details

What’s included in a standard window cleaning?

A standard cleaning covers interior and/or exterior glass, wiped frames and sills, and screens. Window tracks are included on request. Paint overspray, silicone residue, and hard water or mineral removal are treated as add-on services and priced separately.

Do you clean both interior and exterior windows?

Yes. We offer interior-only, exterior-only, or both, depending on what you need and whether someone will be home for the appointment.

How long does professional window cleaning take?

Most residential jobs take one to three hours, depending on the number of windows and whether hard water treatment is needed. Larger homes and commercial jobs take longer.

Do you clean second-story or hard-to-reach windows?

Yes, within the limits of safe access. Skylights and higher-access windows are assessed on-site so we can tell you honestly what’s possible before quoting.

What if something was missed on a window?

We do a walkthrough before we leave specifically so you can flag anything we missed while we’re still there to fix it.

Do you work with property managers or HOAs?

Yes, we work with property managers and HOAs on both one-time and recurring cleaning for the properties they oversee.

How should I prepare for my window cleaning appointment?

Clear small items off interior sills, move furniture a few feet back from any windows we’re cleaning inside, and unlock side gates so we can reach every side of the house. Keep pets secured while we work. We bring our own equipment for everything else.

Is your cleaning safe for window film, tint, and Low-E coatings?

Yes, as long as we know what’s on the glass. Mention any window film, tint, or specialty coatings when you call, and we’ll check the glass before choosing a method. If a treatment could damage a coating, we’ll tell you instead of risking it.

Hard Water & Weather

Do you clean windows during wildfire smoke season?

Yes, though we recommend waiting until air quality improves if possible. Ash should be dampened before cleaning rather than dry-wiped, since dry ash can create airborne particulate. We use the right method so you’re not left with a smeared mess.

What causes hard water spots on windows in Bend?

Hard water spots come from water drying on the glass, usually from sprinklers or irrigation overspray. The longer the minerals sit in Bend’s sun, the more they bond to the surface and the harder they are to remove.

Can hard water stains actually be removed, or do I need new windows?

It depends how long the mineral deposits have been sitting. Light to moderate buildup can usually be restored to a clear finish. If minerals have etched into the glass itself, that damage is permanent. We’ll assess your specific windows and tell you honestly which category they fall into before quoting anything.

Do you clean windows in the rain or snow?

We work around Bend’s weather rather than through it. If rain or snow is in the forecast, we’ll reschedule, and our rain guarantee covers you if weather moves in shortly after an exterior cleaning anyway.
